Nominations for the 2014 edition of TheStadiumBusiness Awards have moved towards the final hurdle… as we open entries for the final three categories of awards.
The final three Awards open for nomination are:
- Venue of the Year
- Customer Experience Award
- Rising Star Award
VENUE OF THE YEAR AWARD
For the world’s best stadium, arena or sports venue.
From the small local club venue to the mega-capacity national sports stadium; tell us which venue deserves recognition for their outstanding performance over the past 12 months, and why. Entries should refer to specific successes and achievements of the venue in the past year.
SMALL VENUE OF THE YEAR AWARD
For the best sub 10,000-seat stadium, arena or major sports venue in the world in the past 12 months.
Tell us which smaller venue deserves recognition for its outstanding performance over the past 12 months, and why. Entries should refer to specific successes and achievements of the venue in the past year.
RISING STAR AWARD
Who is a future leader? Who’s going on to greater things? We want to identify the stadium industry’s rising star.
To qualify, nominees must be under 35 years of age at midnight 4 June 2014.
TheStadiumBusiness Awards recognise leadership, innovation & achievement in the delivery, operation and management of sports facilities globally. Inaugurated in 2010, the Awards are presented annually during TheStadiumBusiness Summit – the largest dedicated meeting in the world of the owners, the operators and the developers of the world’s leading stadiums, arenas and major sport venues.
And the stadium sector is invited to tell us who we should be honouring at our 2014 Gala Awards Evening on 4 June 2014 at The Royal Air Force Museum, London, UK.
What are we looking for?
Our 15 categories represent a diverse spectrum of achievement in the stadium, arena and major sports venue sector. We’re looking for innovation, fresh thinking, leadership and best practice across the industry, from around the world.
Who can enter?
Any venue (stadium, arena, circuit, ballpark, sports ground), company, organisation, association, team, club or individual that has been involved in the stadium/sports venue sector between 1 January 2013 and close of nominations (1 March 2014) is eligible to enter, or be nominated for, TheStadiumBusiness Awards 2014.
Why should I nominate?
There are many benefits of being shortlisted and/or receiving an Award at TheStadiumBusiness Awards. And, as the first (and only) industry awards for the stadium sector by the stadium sector, we rely on your input to make the Awards work!
How much does it cost to enter?
Nothing! Entry is completely free of charge. But please note that you can only nominate one entry per Category. So choose wisely!
